2026 Festivals & Parades

Festival del Río de Fuego de Kennewick

The annual River of Fire Festival will be on July 4th from 2:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Columbia Park in Kennewick. Imagine an unforgettable celebration with many activities leading to a breathtaking fireworks display. Dive into a world of fun at the kids' zone, complete with bounce houses, obstacle courses, face painting, and games. Explore food trucks' diverse culinary offerings, or relax in the inviting beer garden while enjoying live entertainment.

Party in the USA: A Hometown Celebration 250 Years in the Making!

When: July 3 | 7:30 PM - 11 PM
Where: Hapo Stage at John Dam Plaza | 800 Jadwin Ave, Richland

In preparation for America's 250th, Yes&Productions is throwing a huge concert at John Dam Plaza! Performances will feature orchestra music, John Williams movie soundtracks, a mariachi performance, a kids' choir, and some surprise guests. The event is free and open to all, just bring a chair and be ready for a good time.

The Pasco Grand Old 4th of July Celebration is a summer staple of the Tri-Cities. It features two days of family-friendly patriotic activities, ranging from community pancake breakfasts and bike rides to grand parades and fireworks.

The Pasco Grand Old 4th of July Parade is Mid-Columbia’s oldest and largest 4th of July parade. It goes through downtown Pasco beginning at 10:00 a.m., featuring patriotic floats, bands, and community performers.

Grand Old 4th of July Fireworks

When: 10 PM
Where: Pasco Sporting Complex - Gesa Stadium | 6200 Burden Blvd, Pasco, WA 99301

In the evening, turn your eyes to the sky as Pasco’s Grand Old 4th of July Celebration comes to a thunderous close with a Grand Old 4th of July Fireworks display at the Pasco Sporting Complex beginning at 10:00 p.m. Gates will open at 6:30. Get there early as spots fill up and you won't want to miss out on the Battle of the Bands competition starting at 7:30.

2026 Sports & Activities

Camp Patriot 4th of July 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run

When: 7 AM
Where: Pasco Sporting Complex - Gesa Stadium | 6200 Burden Blvd, Pasco, WA 99301

Start Independence Day on a healthy note by heading to Gesa Stadium — home of the Tri-City Dust Devils minor league baseball team — for the return of the annual Camp Patriot 4th of July 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run. With proceeds benefiting non-profit organization Camp Patriot, participants of all ages are invited to register for either distance and run while outfitted in their most patriotic attire, ultimately crossing — or sliding — at home plate inside the stadium.

Red, White, and Poolside

When: 1 PM - 4 PM
Where: 530 Columbia Point Dr, Richland, Washington 99352

Enjoy the summer sun by the poolside with grilling classics like hot dogs, skewers, and sliders. For just $10 a person, Riva Riverside Italian Dining is welcoming all to their outdoor dining area to dig in and relax by their pool before ending the night with fireworks!

Independence Day BBQ Cruise

When: 5 PM - 7 PM | 9 PM - 11 PM
Where: 660 Columbia Point Dr., Richland, Washington 99352

Water2Wine cruises will have two Independence Day BBQ Cruises. For two hours, dine on their buffet of smoked mac and cheese, cornbread, pulled chicken, ribs, and more BBQ delights. Then, step out onto the deck to catch a front row seat on the water to fireworks displays.
